Basil

I got a wonderful bunch of basil at the market this week. I'm using whole leaves of it in salads and sandwiches. I stirred some into the coq au vin. We've had it with tomatoes and cheese, and chopped up over pasta.


I'd like to try basil mojitos next. I don't really feel like making pesto. Please give me some more ideas.

go look at the food blogs and type in basil. I have no creativity for food anymore. Since its a job it gets kind of run of the mill. But when I am feeling super uninspired i go search the food blogs and let them think for me! Good Luck... I love basil!

Basil mojitos are AWESOME! Try lemon instead of lime too!

chop up some tomatoes and basil. add some grated mozzerella cheese some salt and pepper a touch of olive oil and let sit for a few hours in the fridge. serve over warm noodles. best dinner ever.
